Ridiculous! Don't believe speakers who are posturing (and not working.) There is a different fee schedule for virtual and that is being dictated by the industry. Audiences pay less so meeting planners pay less. Stand on principle and starve.

MYTH: 

Offering Free Webinars is a great way to get yourself out there to showcase your wisdom and demonstrate value.

 

TRUTH:

Conventional wisdom misses the mark by a mile. Free webinars are only valuable as a lead-magnet for an online product or subscription service. If you are selling paid speeches, free speeches only get you more free "opportunities." Thousand of our friends and colleagues are dying of "exposure."

Tiffany Lengyel

Tiffany Lengyel began her career in the speaking industry in 2011 when offered the position to become David Avrin’s Executive Assistant and subsequent Business Manager.  Tiffany took David’s already successful business and created the structure and sales marketing machine that brought his business to a whole new level.  As the business grew, so did the inquiries into “what are you doing to get the gigs” and the Sales and Marketing Boot Camp was born in 2015. 

In 2017, Tiffany and David spoke at the National Speakers Association (NSA) annual conference, Influence, with the breakout session, “The Phone Isn't Going to Ring! How to Go Get Speaking Gigs” which was met with rave reviews and an overflowing room.  In 2018, Tiffany and David were asked to return and present a more in depth, pre-conference session on the same topic, thus providing further exposure on what the reality of this business, and like all successful businesses, how speakers need to know where to go look for clients that hire and pay speakers along with the prospecting and contracting strategies and tactics that she uses to market every week and fill up the calendar. 

With a  move to her home state of Washington in 2018, and with David’s encouragement and support, Tiffany branched out and began her new venture, Tiffany Speakers.
